The Japanese artist celebrates bees on a selection of commemorative t-shirts and hoodies.

Innovative and eco-friendly science company PANGAIA is commemorating World Bee Day on May 20 with a collaborative collection in partnership with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Simultaneously launching the Bee the Change Fund in collaboration with Milkywire, a fund which aims to protect and preserve vulnerable and endangered bee species across the world, PANGAIA is embarking on a philanthropic fashion endeavor that aligns directly with their brand mission.

The upcoming Takashi Murakami x PANGAIA capsule collection will contain two celebratory t-shirts and two equally festive hoodies boasting Murakami’s exclusive artwork. Made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, t-shirts will arrive in an off-white color featuring a flower and bee print or saffron yellow showcasing a flower ball and bee print. Hoodies, on the other hand, find vibrancy in cobalt blue and orchid purple with the same respective prints. Each collaborative t-shirt can be bought for $95, and both colorful hoodies are priced at $220.
